Care Guide

Jewellery is designed to be worn and lived with. With proper care, your AINO pieces can maintain their beauty and structure over time.

Daily Wear

Our pieces are suitable for everyday wear, however we recommend removing jewellery in the following situations:

- showering, swimming, or exposure to water
- applying perfume, lotion, or cosmetics
- exercising or physical activity
- household cleaning or contact with chemicals

Avoid direct impact, pressure, or friction, as this may cause scratches or loosen settings over time.

Cleaning

Regular gentle cleaning helps maintain the appearance of your jewellery.

For routine care:

- use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the surface
- gently remove oils and residue after wearing

For deeper cleaning:
- use lukewarm water with a mild soap
- clean gently with a soft brush
rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth

Avoid ultrasonic cleaners, harsh chemicals, or abrasive materials, as these may damage the metal or stone settings.

Storage

When not in use, store your jewellery carefully to avoid scratches and damage.

- keep pieces in a soft pouch or jewellery box
- store items separately to prevent contact between metals or stones
- avoid humid environments

Proper storage helps maintain both surface condition and structural integrity.

Gold Care

AINO jewellery is crafted from solid 14k or 18k gold.

Gold may naturally develop slight surface marks or a soft patina over time. This is a normal characteristic of solid gold and not considered a defect.

To maintain its appearance:

- avoid contact with chemicals
- polish gently with a soft cloth
- store properly when not in use

Professional polishing can restore the surface if required.

Diamond Care

Lab-grown diamonds have the same hardness and durability as natural diamonds, but still require care.

- avoid impact against hard surfaces
- clean regularly to maintain brilliance
- remove before activities that may cause stress to the setting

Over time, dirt and oils can reduce sparkle. Regular cleaning will restore clarity.

Settings & Structure

Jewellery settings can experience natural wear over time.

We recommend:
- checking stone settings periodically
- avoiding excessive force or bending
- removing jewellery during activities that may strain the piece

If you notice any looseness or changes, discontinue wearing and contact us.

What to Avoid

To prolong the life of your jewellery, avoid:

- exposure to chlorine, detergents, or chemicalsstrong impact or dropping
- wearing during heavy physical work
- storing multiple pieces together without protection
- Damage caused by the above is considered wear and not a manufacturing fault.

Maintenance

Regular care will help preserve your jewellery over time.

We recommend:
- occasional professional cleaning
- periodic inspection of settings and clasps

If you require assistance, our team is available to help assess and advise on care or maintenance.

Important Notes

Jewellery is a delicate item and will naturally show signs of wear with use.

- minor scratches and surface changes are normal
- individual stones may vary slightly in appearance
- proper care is the responsibility of the wearer

These characteristics are not considered faults.
